Name/Country: Wen Xin Zhi / Chinese Kingdom of Wu
Pokemon Team: Typhlosion, Ninetails, Magmortar, Charizard
Starter: Charmander
Background: Wen Xin Zhi represents the Wu clan, of the warring three kingdoms in China's long history. The Wu clan associated with fire, the Shu clan associated with grass, and the Wei clan associated with water, Wen is known for trying to blaze through her battles quickly. She's the youngest of the children, so she often gets bullied by her older siblings.
Relations: She gets along relatively well with her siblings from the other states, but is often discredited by Yao. It was her fault that China's unification failed, and Yao had to endure three hundred years due to her fall. She's always secretly had a crush on him, but her pride would never let her admit it. Hao often tells her to read more to train her mind, but her kingdom is credited with writing "The Art of War", which irritates him.
Role: Pokemon Trainer
Other: Wen only wants to prove that she can prove herself to Yao, who ignores her constantly. There is still sibling rivalry, but nothing that's worth arguing anymore. She's already proven herself worthy opponent to them.
Sample: The night was cool and starry, with slowly walking outside of her home, to watch the moon. She'd observed the moon most nights, thinking of her past failures. She'd casually walked out her door, until her eyes widened in shock. Yao was sitting next to where she usually did, watching the moon himself.
Slowly, she sat down beside him. She wondered why he'd be here, of all places. She congratulated herself for having the courage to sit next to him. She tried to hide her oncoming blush, but didn't do a very good job.
"Wan shang hao! I have not seen you for some time, Yao... I was worried you'd forgotten about me..."
She fiddled her fingers slightly, feeling the intense urge to ask why he'd come so far to see her, but didn't want to sound desperate. A silent sigh escaped her, before she looked him in the eye.
"Do you... Ever look into the moon Sir? Ever wonder... If a special person is looking at the moon the same time as you? I... I mean... It's romantic to think about... What do you think?"
Characterization: I'm not sure what to put here.
