Name/Country: Erika Zwingli; Liechtenstein
Pokemon Team:
~ ♂ Espeon; Level 34- Although Erika never planned it, her starter Pokemon, Eevee, had evolved into Espeon. Quite honestly, she would have perfected to use a Fire stone and evolve her Eevee into Flareon, however, she couldn't help but still love her Eevee, who was evolved into an Espeon. Her Espeon prefers to stay out of the pokeball and follow Erika wherever she goes. Although Erika tries really hard not to play favorites, Espeon would clearly be her favorite if she did.
~ ♀ Kirlia; Level 20- Erika's second Pokemon was actually Ralts. After much training, Ralts involved into Kirlia. Kirlia reminds Erika of a ballerina, and often entertains Erika by dancing quite gracefully.
~ ♀ Skitty; Level 15- Despite being the Pokemon with the lowest level on Erika's team, Skitty possesses the most energy, which Erika saw before she even caught her. Erika actually played with the Skitty when she was younger, before Erika even caught her.
Starter: Eevee
Background:
Erika was born into the Zwingli family as the youngest child and only daughter. She spent her childhood sneaking past her protective older brother and going to the meadow to play with the wild Pokemon. Often times, she'd pick flowers and make little flower wreathes for the wild Pokemon to wear. During this time, Erika grew rather close with a wild Skitty, who she really wanted to make her first Pokemon. Evidently, this wild Skitty was not going to be her first Pokemon for her visits to the wild Pokemon stopped after her parents and brother caught wind of the frequent visits.
Even still, Erika tried very hard to convince her parents and her brother that her visits were not dangerous and actually very fun. Yet, her parents seemed unmoved and continued to not allow Erika to wander off by herself. It seemed hopeless to Erika to try and have things her way; the thought of becoming a Pokemon trainer or anything was thrown out the window. Erika really didn't want anything to do with Pokemon because they reminded her of those happy times in the meadow. Now, it was like she was in a prison, where she was only allowed out if her brother was allowed out. Of course, she loved her brother dearly, but she loved her Pokemon friends as well. Erika managed to spend time picking up little hobbies such as sewing. Also, her relationship with her brother seemed to develop more during the time she spent at home.
However, ideas began to chance on one stormy night when a trainer was desperately looking for a Pokemon center. Erika had been looking out her window, just observing the lightening and the rain when she saw a boy frantically looking around with a fainted Pokemon in his arms. Assuming he was looking for a Pokemon Center, she grabbed a Revive and a Hyper Potion, and ran out the door. Erika healed the Pokemon and brought the boy to her house. It was then that she discovered her calling; a nurse. Erika became acquainted with the boy, asking many questions about his journey so far and what it was like to travel with Pokemon. He soon left after the storm died down, and silly Erika forgot to ask his name. To say the least, she had a bit of a crush and everything he said just seemed so intriguing.
Anyway, Erika managed to convince her parents to let her become a nurse. Their thinking was that she would be a nurse at the local Pokemon center. Erika's idea on the other hand, was that she could travel and help those in need everywhere. Seeing that she would not change her mind, her parents reluctantly agreed on the condition that she'd spend at least a month learning the basics at the local Pokemon Center. So, Erika spent her month at the Pokemon Center and became rather good friends with the head nurse there. Seeing that she would need a Pokemon for her journey, the head nurse gave Erika an Eevee to start.
And so, Erika began her journey.
Relations:
(I'd assume Vash/Switz. But I hope it's okay if I leave this blank for now till a Switz comes 'round.)
Role: A Nurse/Trainer- Someone can challenge Erika to a battle and she will heal their Pokemon after the battle or anytime they need.
Other:
~ Erika is around the age of sixteen.
~ She does want to find the boy she met when she was younger to thank him for helping her discover her "calling".
Sample:
A young Erika walked into the forest, checking behind her every so often, making sure her brother wasn't behind her. After each time that she saw that he wasn't following her, Erika would draw in a breath and exhale a sigh of relief. She really hated how she would have to sneak out and lie to her parents and her brother, but they wouldn't let her out otherwise. It seemed like they wouldn't ever understand her bond with her wild Pokemon friends.
Her small hand felt her pocket to make sure the Pokemon food was still in her pocket. As her hand brushed her pocket, green-blue eyes shifted from left to right to make sure the area was safe. The food had been taken from her house, actually, and was used to feed her father's and brother's Pokemon. Really, Erika figured they wouldn't notice if she took a little bit for the wild Skitty.
Honestly, Erika did not particularly like to take the forest path to go to the meadow, but it was the fastest and safest way to get there. Not looking down, Erika tripped over a rock and fell face first onto the ground. Letting out a small cry and an, "Ow", she got back up. Her hand instantly went to her pocket to make sure the food was still there. Thankfully, it was.
She continued down the trail, now looking down to make sure that she wouldn't trip over anything again. Unfortunately, today was not a lucky day for Erika, for a branch smacked her right in the face. Erika almost started to cry, but she held her breath to try and stop the tears. "I-I'm almost t-there. I c-can't cry n-now!"
Her eyes scanned the area to check to see if she was going the right way. Unfamiliar trees and bushes surrounded her, as well as a new trail. Had she taken a wrong turn somewhere? Several small salty tears began to run down her face. "Who's going to feed Skitty now?"
